Building Together: A Responsible Future for AI in Mental Health Care

As the use of AI in mental health and addictions care continues to evolve, there is a growing need for guidance, collaboration, and informed discussion on its responsible use.
Join us at the Building Together: A Responsible Future for AI in Mental Health Care Symposium, a free virtual symposium that will bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, patient partners, policymakers, and system leaders to explore emerging guidance and recommendations, implementation considerations, and collaborative approaches to supporting the responsible use of AI in care.
The symposium will feature a preview of Canada’s first national guidance for AI in mental health and substance use health care, presented by the Mental Health Commission of Canada’s/MHCC’s Anique Turgeon, alongside discussions on responsible AI implementation, opportunities and considerations for AI in child and youth mental health, and the role of patient partnership, trust, and accountability in AI-enabled care.
