The Digital Health Canada Fellows program recognizes members who have made significant and sustained voluntary contributions through the association to advance the digital health industry in Canada.

Digital Health Canada Fellows represent the pinnacle of volunteerism, combining experience, professionalism, and contributions made to their peers and the industry through active and sustained engagement with Digital Health Canada. Digital Health Canada Fellows are the leaders and contributors who champion and promote the association and digital health in Canada.

Fellows are recognized as advocates, champions, and leading volunteer contributors to Digital Health Canada. Once selected, Fellows are expected to continue to serve as association supporters, mentors, volunteer leaders, speakers, and industry advocates. Fellows will identify areas of key contribution annually as part of their Fellow role and commitment to ongoing volunteer leadership on behalf of the association and digital health industry.

Inaugural Fellows were announced during Digital Health Week 2023—thank you to everyone who applied. Applications for the next group of Fellows will open in September 2024.

2023 FELLOWS

Application and appointment

The Fellows program was developed with the intent to provide equitable access, a clear process, and transparent criteria for achieving Fellow recognition.

  • Members who have made longstanding contributions to the association may be appointed Fellows through an annual application and adjudication process.
  • The adjudication committee will review Fellow submissions each year.
  • The application form must be completed and submitted before the stated deadline.
  • Fellows will be announced and celebrated as Fellows of Digital Health Canada and named on the Digital Health Canada website.
  • To share their experience and significant contributions to the field of digital health in Canada, Fellows may be invited to attend and present at a CHIEF Executive Forum Symposium*.

* A maximum of three Fellows who are not current members of CHIEF Executive Forum may attend a given CHIEF Executive Forum event. In the event that there are more than three Fellows who would like to attend a lottery selection will used to select those who will attend. No Fellow will attend more than one CHIEF event per year. An equitable rotational system will continue to be implemented as the program grows.
