e-Health Conference Abstract CommitteeThe e-Health Conference Abstract Committee develops the abstract program, including submitting, reviewing, scheduling, and selecting. The committee communicates mostly via email and is managed by the Conference Director. Please note, volunteers are responsible for their own travel and accommodations for the duration of the conference. Call for volunteers for e-Health27 will commence in September 2026.
The e-Health Conference Program Committee guides and creates the overall conference content and the plenary program. The Program Committee is managed by the Conference Director with input from hosts, delegates and members. Committee members bring expertise experience, and regional representation. Please note, volunteers are responsible for their own travel and accommodations for the duration of the conference. Call for volunteers for e-Health27 will commence in September 2026.
e-Health Volunteer Session Facilitators keep the concurrent sessions running smoothly. Session Facilitators introduce the concurrent speakers, keep the session running on time, and moderate the question and answer period. Please note that volunteers must be Digital Health Canada members and registered for the conference to be considered for this opportunity. Volunteering at the annual e-Health Conference and Tradeshow is an invaluable experience for students currently registered in health informatics or digital health programs at accredited academic institutions. Volunteers have the opportunity to learn, network, and make important connections with representatives from Canada’s leading digital health organizations. To apply to become an e-Health volunteer, you must be:
- Age 19 years or older
- A Digital Health Canada Student Member in good standing
- Professional, enthusiastic, friendly, and able to adapt to rapidly changing work conditions
- Able to commit a minimum of 10 volunteer hours or three shifts
- Able to arrange and pay for your own transportation to/from the conference location
- Able to and arrange and pay for your own accommodations during the conference
- Able to pay for your own incidental charges (i.e. hotel incidentals and meals outside of scheduled meals)
