The purpose of this survey is to validate and strengthen the foundation of the CAHIMS/CPHIMS by ensuring it reflects the current responsibilities, knowledge, and professional practice of HIM professionals. This survey is critical to the relevance and continued strength of the CAHIMS and CPHIMS certification programs.
Your experience and perspective are important whether you work in a clinical setting, consulting, academia, or other sector. Professionals at all stages of their careers are encouraged to share their experience in this survey.
The survey seeks input from professionals serving in roles such as (this is list not intended to be exhaustive):
- Analyst
- Business Consultant
- Clinical Informaticist
- Nurse
- Pharmacist
- Project Manager
- VP/C-Suite
We also welcome professionals holding similar credentials (e.g. AHIC, NI-BC, CISPP, RHIA, RHIT, CHDA, CHPS, PMP) to respond to this survey.
