Learning Health System (LHS) in Canada: A National Environmental Scan, Engagement Process, and Strategic Assessment
The purpose of this working group will be to map and understand Learning Health System (LHS) activity across Canada, with particular attention to how initiatives have emerged organically, how they are distributed across research versus operational practice, single-instance projects vs ongoing services, and informatics-based vs other models.
The group will examine and synthesize reported impacts on patient and provider experience, engage leaders through regional roundtables, and develop a national synthesis through a working group to interpret patterns, variation, and shared themes, culminating in a peer-reviewed publication and companion knowledge products.
