Maintaining your CPHIMS-CA certification

You worked hard to become a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems-Canada; keep your credential current with ongoing professional engagement. Certified professionals need to accumulate a total of 60 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) before the credential expiration date. If you allow your credential to expire without accumulating the required CEUs, you must write and successfully pass the CPHIMS and CA exams again in order to be re-certified.

Credential holders maintain their CPHIMS-CA certification through the HIMSS portal where printable certificates are available upon logging in and hours are submitted for renewal.
