Reseller agreement brings Interlace Nova’s eForms and eSignature platform to Canadian healthcare providers, beginning with automated Laboratory Request Authorization workflows
ONTARIO, CANADA — Interlace Health, a leading provider of digital healthcare workflow solutions, and SmartPrint, a trusted Ontario-based technology reseller, today announced a strategic reseller agreement to bring the Interlace Nova platform to healthcare organizations across Canada. The partnership marks a significant step forward in the modernization of clinical documentation for Canadian providers.
Under the agreement, SmartPrint will market, sell, and support the full suite of Interlace Nova solutions, including advanced electronic forms (eForms) and legally compliant eSignature capabilities, to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and health networks throughout Ontario and beyond. The collaboration is designed to help Canadian healthcare organizations eliminate paper-based processes, reduce administrative burden, and accelerate patient care workflows.
As a priority go-to-market initiative, the two companies will jointly deploy Interlace Nova to automate Laboratory Request Authorization (LRA) documentation, a critical and high-volume clinical process governed by Ontario health regulations. Historically reliant on paper forms, manual signatures, and fax-based transmission, the LRA process introduces significant delays and error risk into patient care pathways. Interlace Nova replaces this entirely with a seamless digital workflow, from clinician-initiated eForm completion to compliant eSignature capture and secure submission, all within a platform purpose-built for healthcare environments.
“Bringing Interlace Nova to Ontario is about more than replacing paper. It’s about empowering clinicians and staff to spend more time with patients and less time chasing paperwork. SmartPrint is the ideal partner to deliver this transformation across the entire Canadian market.”
— Allison Rechenbach, Chief Executive Officer, Interlace Health
The Interlace Nova platform is engineered to meet the stringent privacy, security, and interoperability standards required in regulated healthcare settings, including alignment with Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). Its flexible architecture enables rapid deployment across existing clinical systems, supporting HL7 and FHIR integrations, and requires minimal IT infrastructure investment from health organizations.
“Ontario’s healthcare providers have been asking for a better way to manage documentation, one that is secure, compliant, and easy for clinical staff to adopt. With Interlace Nova, we can now offer a proven solution that meets those needs from day one. We’re proud to bring this technology to our clients.”
— Tim Lomax, President, SmartPrint
The Laboratory Request Authorization solution will be available to Ontario health organizations beginning in Q2 2026, with SmartPrint leading sales, marketing and contracting and ongoing customer support. The companies anticipate rapid expansion of the Nova platform into additional clinical documentation use cases, including consent management, intake forms, referrals, and discharge documentation, as adoption grows across the province.
This partnership reflects a growing national movement to accelerate healthcare digitization in Canada, supported by provincial and federal investment in health information technology infrastructure. Interlace Health and SmartPrint are committed to working alongside Ontario Health, regional health teams, and hospital networks to ensure deployments align with provincial health IT standards and interoperability goals.
