Digital Health Canada launches new awards program

Digital Health Canada is pleased to announce a freshly redesigned awards program to recognize the people, teams, and organizations shaping Canada’s digital health landscape.

The new Digital Health Canada Awards will recognize leadership and innovation in digital health, engage members in celebrating excellence, and elevate the visibility of the digital health community and its impact.

What’s new

  • A streamlined program and simplified structure with clear eligibility criteria to support fair and transparent adjudication
  • New categories that recognize both individual and team/corporate contributions
  • A more inclusive approach that reflects the full spectrum of sectors and roles across digital health

Built on strong principles

Digital Health Canada convened a national task force to gather member input and reimagine how to celebrate excellence across the community. The result is a more focused, inclusive, and impactful program that reflects the breadth and evolution of digital health in Canada. Thank you to these Awards Task Force members for their leadership: Rod Burns (Digital Health Canada Fellow), Joby McKenzie (Teladoc Health Canada), Ted Scott (Hamilton Health Sciences Centre), Lydia Sequeira (Kids Help Phone), and Abbas Zavar (University of Toronto).
