Driving Advanced Analytics and Innovation at Providence Health Care with BC’s first Care Coordination Centre

Stephanie brings extensive experience in project management and hospital operations across Canada, the UK and the USA. She currently leads the IT Systems & Innovation Portfolio for the New St. Paul’s Hospital Project, one of BC’s largest redevelopment projects. Other notable highlights include supporting the design, build and go-live of North America’s First Fully Digital Hospital at Humber River Hospital in 2015, and leading Command Centre initiatives at Humber River Hospital in 2017 and Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2019. Stephanie’s background in public health and kinesiology highlights her passion for data-driven approaches that enhance equitable access to health care. Her innovative approaches have consistently pushed the boundaries of health care delivery.

Tanya is an experienced project manager currently leading the Care Coordination Centre project, as part of the New St. Paul's Hospital. With a background in health informatics, she has a strong interest in the use of leveraging technology in healthcare to improve access and streamline the patient journey. Through her work, she has led numerous process improvement initiatives to help optimize clinical workflows and reduce inefficiencies, giving time back for staff to focus on patient care. Using a collaborative and problem-solving approach, she has also supported multiple large scale HIS implementations at various hospitals back east. She aims to use her knowledge and expertise to further the advance digital technology in healthcare.
