Dear Members of the Digital Health Canada Community,

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am writing to share some important news regarding a significant transition within our organization. After nine years of remarkable leadership, our Chief Executive Officer, Mark Casselman, has decided to pursue a new opportunity external to the association. While sad to see Mark go, we fully support his decision and appreciate the thoughtful approach he is taking towards this transition.

Mark has been instrumental in driving the growth and success of Digital Health Canada. His dedication, vision, and hard work have left an indelible mark on the organization and its members, partners, and stakeholders across Canada and internationally. Under Mark’s guidance, Digital Health Canada has achieved many significant milestones, and we are grateful for his contributions.

The Board Executive Committee will work closely with Mark and the National Office staff to execute a smooth leadership transition between now and August 29th—Mark’s last day with Digital Health Canada. Rest assured that the transition and forward strategy are in good hands under the leadership of Executive Director Shannon Bott. We will communicate next steps to Digital Health Canada members as this collaborative work continues.

Mark is committed to supporting Digital Health Canada through this period of change. Along with the Board of Directors, Mark and I share a deep confidence in the strength and vibrancy of Digital Health Canada and see a strong path forward towards continued growth and success for the association.
