Developed by Digital Health Canada’s CHIEF Executive Forum and funded by Canada Health Infoway, this paper explores and articulates the value of the International Patient Summary for Canadian healthcare. The Value of the International Patient Summary aims to educate and inform the industry and to further the understanding of the clinical, patient, and health system value of the IPS as a key component of interoperability.
