Informatics Now: A Live Learning Series is open to individual learners who want to deepen their knowledge of health informatics, prepare for the CPHIMS-CA exam, or explore the Canadian digital health ecosystem—one module at a time. The learning series is perfect for independent professionals, new grads, or anyone ready to level up in digital health.
Spaces are limited to encourage participant engagement and networking, and to allow time for questions and answers.
Pre- and post-session resources are available at the link provided in the reminder email sent to all registrants one day before each session.
Session 6/8: Project ManagementThe Project Management module provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of project management principles and best practices within the context of health information systems. Learners will apply project management principles throughout the project lifecycle, including the development of project charters, scope management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
The module emphasizes fostering collaboration among stakeholders and addressing the unique challenges inherent in health information systems projects. Learners will develop the ability to anticipate issues and opportunities, mitigate risks associated with projects, and ensure successful project outcomes.
This module prepares learners to effectively manage projects in the healthcare sector, ensuring that health information systems are implemented and maintained to support organizational goals and improve patient care.
