The Ottawa Medical Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (OMARI) invites organizations with AI-based medical devices either in development or on the market to participate in a research study investigating and documenting regulatory considerations for AI in healthcare. The study aims to enable AI innovations and explore how organizations navigate evolving regulatory requirements, uncertainty, and practical challenges in the medical device licensing process in Canada.
Participation involves a one-time, 45-minute semi-structured interview via Microsoft Teams.
Insights will contribute to developing a regulatory playbook and practical recommendations for organizations. This will be shared with the community across Canada.
