Digital Health Canada volunteers like Shez Daya are the backbone of our education program. Shez volunteered as an instructor for the 2024 Health Informatics Winter Lecture Series, delivering content for the session on Clinical and Health Services.
I really enjoyed supporting the Winter Lecture Series this year. We had great dialog and got to share real-world experiences with digital and virtual care implementations. I got to hear perspectives from digital health professionals from across the country and from different sectors.
About Shez
As director of Digital Solutions, Shez Daya provides leadership for CIHI’s Hub Strategy, a key transformational program for the organization. She brings both hospital and government health agency experience, having planned, designed and executed many large-scale digital and virtual programs in Ontario’s health system. Prior to joining CIHI, Ms. Daya served as a director at Ontario Health, where she oversaw the implementation of key transformation efforts and led the development of their Enterprise Project Management Office. Ms. Daya holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Health Science from the University of Toronto, and is a certified Project Management Professional.
I was able to connect with front-line clinicians and hear their direct experience of the impacts and benefits that new technology can bring to clinical care processes.
