Dalhousie University’s Department of Emergency Medicine is looking for healthcare workers or IT professionals to provide input on the capabilities of their department’s Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) software. A comprehensive inventory of the EDIS functions does not currently exist, and this study aims to help direct future research and implementation science.
Interested in participating?
The information gathered is not site-specific, i.e. individuals will not be identifiable, and the results will be presented in an academic journal. Specialized knowledge is not required; anyone who has used EDIS in their work-role will be capable of answering the survey questions.

This study has been reviewed by the Research Ethics Board (REB) of Dalhousie University and it has been determined that it is exempt from REB approval as per the TCPS 2.1 policy.
