Webinar Wednesday – Evidence-based Guidance on AI Usage in Primary Care: CEP’s AI Learning Centre

The Centre for Effective Practice has launched the AI Learning Centre, a rapid-response resource designed to enhance AI literacy among Ontario’s primary care practitioners and support informed AI usage in clinical practice.

The webinar will use common practitioner questions to highlight key AI Learning Centre content, including:

-What’s available to use right now, and what are some practical tips to help me use it?

-What’s the risk level for using AI to support different kinds of tasks in primary care?

-Are there regulations governing AI use in primary care in Ontario?

-How do machine learning-powered tools differ from traditional digital health tools, and why should I care?

-How might AI impact the doctor-patient relationship, and what are best practices for addressing this?

In addition, we’ll explore how CEP’s AI Learning Centre is prioritizing collaboration with external partners and experts to develop responsive, iterative guidance for primary care clinicians while reducing duplication and noise in the system.
