Presented by members, for members, Webinar Wednesdays are a valuable member benefit and a great way for members and member organizations to share their work, research, challenges and updates. Join a Community of Action

Digital Health Canada Communities of Action (CoA) provide opportunities for connection, idea sharing, and professional development. These member-led volunteer working groups come together with a shared purpose: to enhance the quality of healthcare for Canadians by learning more about an important digital health topic. CoA working groups meet virtually to learn, collaborate, and share knowledge with the Canadian digital health community through the creation of reports, white papers, guidelines, or presentations. Volunteer as a Digital Health Canada Faculty Member

Digital Health Canada education and certification programs are the first cross-disciplinary programs to be developed with volunteer health informatics experts and leaders operating in a variety of professional settings: healthcare organizations, provincial/national government agencies, vendors, consultants, and academia. These volunteer experts populate the Digital Health Canada Faculty and are the backbone of the Core HI Education program. Digital Health Canada Faculty fill key roles in Education Content Development, Exam Content Development, and/or Education Instruction. Join an event planning committee

Event Planning Committee members meet virtually in the weeks leading up to the event to determine high-level event details, including the event theme, agenda, and speaker and topic selection. Members contribute their industry knowledge and experience to inform the tone and quality of the event, relying on the expertise of the event planning staff to manage event details. Adjudicate award submissions

Each year, Digital Health Canada receives dozens of nominations for our annual awards: The annual Digital Health Canada Awards offer six categories in which to recognize Canadian digital health leaders and innovators; The annual Women Leaders in Digital Health Awards celebrate the top ten female visionaries who are harnessing the power of IT to transform health and healthcare in Canada today; The Steven Huesing Scholarship is awarded annually to a student enrolled in a Health Informatics or related program at an accredited post-secondary institution.

Nominations are received online and assessed and ranked by a revolving committee of adjudicators. If you are a member with experience evaluating award applications and have at least seven years digital health industry experience, please apply to adjudicate award submissions HERE.

 

e-Health Conference + Tradeshow volunteer opportunities

e-Health is the premier event for Canadian digital health professionals working to make a difference in health and healthcare delivery. e-Health Conference Program Committee

The e-Health Conference Program Committee guides and creates the overall conference content and the plenary program. The Program Committee is managed by the Conference Director with input from hosts, delegates and members. Committee members bring expertise experience, and regional representation. e-Health Conference Abstract Committee

The e-Health Conference Abstract Committee develops the abstract program, including submitting, reviewing, scheduling, and selecting moderators and discussants. Attendees: Introduce and moderate a session at the next e-Health Conference and Tradeshow

Moderators introduce concurrent session speakers, keep track of session timing, and take questions from the audience after the speaker concludes.
