Rachel Barker is the CEO and Co-Founder of Novametra. She brings a systems-level perspective shaped by 15+ years of experience across Canada’s digital health ecosystem, spanning public sector, private sector, care delivery organizations, and consulting. Her background includes leadership of regional and national digital transformation work, including health information exchange and interoperability initiatives and the design and implementation of human-centered digital health tools and platforms
Dr. Radica Bissoondial is a healthcare leader and educator with foundational experience in sciences, senior care, and research.
Her career began in research and development as an R&D Chemist and transitioned into Senior Operations Management in photo- chemicals. Dr. Bissoondial healthcare experience is in senior care living at leadership level within retirement and long-term care facilities as Executive Director and Administrator. A career shift into education began as an instructor within private career college then director of education in the same environment. Teaching experience includes community college and university in Ontario and university in USA. Roles in education that Dr. Bissoondial has had are Director of Education, Program Coordinator, Adjunct Faculty, Subject Matter Expert, Curriculum Developer, and Curriculum Consultant. In addition to teaching at Fanshawe College’s post-graduate Health Systems Management, she is affiliated with academic institutions in online capacity in undergraduate and graduate healthcare administration, public health, and seniors care programs. Dr. Bissoondial has held a fellowship with her alumni, University of Phoenix. She has taught on campus, online and hybrid delivery.
Dr. Bissoondial has a Bachelor of Science (Toronto Metropolitan University), Master of Health Administration (University of Phoenix), Master of Education (Queen’s University) and Doctor of Health Administration (University of Phoenix). She also has an Adult Education certificate (Seneca College) and Health Care Administrative certificate (D’Youville College).
Dr. Bissoondial philosophy of education is that learning is continuous and built on collaboration and applied pedagogy of knowledge transfer and application to workforce.
Currently, she is a Professor and Program Coordinator of Health Systems Management at Fanshawe College.
Makan Camara is an IT professional with more than 15 years of experience. He is currently working as Senior IT project manager at Vitalite Health Network in New-Brunswick, where he implements relevant digital solutions to improve patient and provider experience. Makan is a passionate project manager well-versed in project management methodologies, organizational change management, risk management, project planning, team building, communication, and technical implementation.
Kaitlyn is committed to shaping a health system legacy that future generations can be proud to inherit. She began her career as a health professional, entrepreneur, and instructor, and quickly advanced into leadership roles as a privacy expert and director of thriving technology and consulting ventures. With a Bachelor of Health Studies and specialized training in health informatics and privacy, Kaitlyn brings a deep understanding of how social, cultural, and systemic determinants influence health outcomes. She is passionate about using data responsibly—recognizing that meaningful insights emerge when diverse metrics are tracked and interpreted with care. Kaitlyn champions the idea that health is a shared responsibility, and believes collaboration across communities, organizations, and systems is key to building a more fiscally sustainable, transparent, and trustworthy healthcare ecosystem. Kaitlyn moonlights as the fractional Executive Director of AiSK (Artificial Intelligence Saskatchewan). Her work reflects both technical expertise and a human-centered approach, making her a trusted advisor and an inspiring voice in the future of health innovation.
With nearly a decade of experience within research and evaluation, Lisa is passionate about delivering high-quality, impactful results that enhance patient-centered care. In her role at the eCE, Lisa has supported program areas through comprehensive evaluation planning, development of data collection tools, and the execution of analyses. Her expertise allows her to tailor reporting and presentation of results to meet the unique needs of diverse stakeholders, ensuring that data-driven insights are accessible and actionable.
Lirije Hyseni is the Executive Director of Excellence and Clinical Experience at Amplify Care with over a decade of experience in evaluation and research. Over the years, Lirije led many evaluation initiatives as an internal, as well as an external evaluator, for innovative technologies including AI scribes, automation tools, chronic disease prevention and management EMR solutions, patient engagement platforms, virtual care, eReferral, eConsult and remote patient monitoring. Through this work, she has acquired extensive knowledge of the health system context and the various nuances to be considered when evaluating digital health initiatives. Lirije currently holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Waterloo and is a Credentialed Evaluator with the Canadian Evaluation Society, reflecting her commitment to maintaining high standards in evaluation practices.
Andriana Lukich is the Director, Digital Solutions at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. She holds a HBSc Kinesiology and an MBA from McMaster University, a PMP certification and is Prosci Change Management certified. Throughout her decade of healthcare experience, she has held multiple roles all focused on leading change initiatives and supporting staff and physicians through transformational projects.
As Chief Nursing Officer for Oracle Health Canada, Ms. Pagliaroli strives to partner with clinical executives to ensure the value of improved safety and quality of care outcomes are realized through the utilization of health information technology solutions. Ms. Pagliaroli is a registered nurse and clinical informatics professional (CPHIMS-CA) with frontline clinical experience and over 20 years of senior leadership expertise. She holds board positions as Director of Membership for the Canadian Nursing Informatics Association and Director of Membership for the HIMSS Ontario Chapter. Her passion is in data sharing, standards, outcomes and reducing clinician burden and as such, is an active participant of the National Nursing Data Standards group. She is a graduate of the Masters of Health Information Science from University of Victoria.
Justin Saindon is a health system leader passionate about transforming healthcare delivery and patient experience through technology, data, and innovation. Justin is Director of Digital Transformation & Analytics at Niagara Health. In this capacity he is responsible for defining and executing on Niagara Health’s digital transformation and data analytics strategic priorities. Prior to Niagara Health, Justin held various leadership roles with Southlake Regional Health Centre, Central and Toronto Central Local Health Integration Networks, as well as University Health Network. The breadth and depth of his experience has provided Justin a comprehensive view of Ontario’s health system challenges as well as a firm understanding of the opportunities that exist in the digital health ecosystem. Justin is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a certified Change Management Practitioner. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Science degree from Western University. Justin is a Review Editor for Longwoods Healthcare Quarterly and serves on the Board of Directors for the HIMSS Eastern Canada Chapter.
Lorraine Toderash is health professional working in the information technology field as a Clinical Product Manager. One of her key roles is to develop, document and communicate product requirements and work with the other members of the software engineering team to deliver the features and functions of a clinical software package. Lorraine’s detailed understanding of clinical workflows and her lived experience as Registered Nurse, contributes to successful products.
Lorraine has worked in health and health technology across multiple countries; in various parts of the health care sectors, including community, chronic, acute, and critical care environments; and in both rural and urban settings. Her experience across a variety of software project roles, including business analysis, quality assurance, change management, implementation (training) and post-implementation support has supplied her a unique viewpoint on technology projects.
When Lorraine is not working as a Clinical Product Manager for AlayaCare, she can be found volunteering at local community events such as Winnipeg Folk Festival or Folklorama.
