Volunteer Spotlight: Sayeh Radpay

Over the past five years, Sayeh Radpay has served on the e-Health Program Committee, e-Health Abstract Review Committee, Digital Health CanadaAwards Adjudication Committee, and Women Leaders in Digital Health Awards Adjudication Committee.

Not only do I believe “it takes a village” to contribute to the success of any organization, but it’s always easier to criticize than create. By volunteering, I’m striving to stay on the “create” or “take action” side of the line.

Sayeh is an authentic healthcare executive with a passion for driving the adoption of innovation in the Canadian healthcare system. She is a pharmacist with experience in different aspects of the healthcare industry, including acute and primary care practice. She has led business development activities for small to mid-sized pharmaceutical companies, managed product development for a healthcare information systems organization, and conducted in-depth due diligence and forecasting as an equity research associate analyst for a leading Canadian investment bank. She has held senior roles in operations, professional affairs, marketing, product management, and clinical program development. Her international experience provides a unique perspective to current issues.

At HumanisRx, Sayeh is focused on evolving and executing against the company’s strategic plan and developing new partnerships.

Volunteering with Digital Health Canada has been incredibly rewarding. Although I have over 20 years of professional experience in healthcare, when I joined Digital Health Canada I was new to the digital side of the ecosystem and by volunteering I was able to immerse myself in this world, learn new skills and contribute to the organization in a meaningful way. Importantly, volunteering has connected me with industry professionals and peers that I would have otherwise “passed by” at conferences or merely seen on a screen at a webinar. Overall, volunteering with Digital Health Canada been a fulfilling way to grow both personally and professionally.

Volunteering builds experience, contributes to your professional development and learning, and helps you expand your network.
