2023 Women Leaders in Digital Health: Noralyn Baluyot

Noralyn Baluyot, President and CEO, TransForm Shared Service Organization
Category: Executive

Lyn’s energy and resilience are contagious, and she leads by example. She has built a highly motivated team, and empowers them to become innovators, and architects of change. She has demonstrated success under difficult circumstances where organizations must do more with less, and she ensures that all members of her team understand that every contribution regardless of how small has incredible value. In our opinion, projects such as the Oracle Health Collaborative and Ontario eHub would not have been possible without Lyn’s leadership regionally and provincially. Her tireless work in creating a regional governance structure for large implementations and support for operations has proven to be very effective. Her messaging and work are now being shared widely with other digital health leaders on provincial, national, and international levels to promote knowledge transfer and collaboration. She is highly sought after and is a true ambassador for advancing digital health.

Lyn Baluyot is an experienced healthcare leader with a demonstrated history of providing the vision and strategic thinking to enable transformative change in the health system. She is a strong professional, skilled in healthcare consulting and enterprise-wide digital health transformation including:

  • Cost Transformation/Performance Improvement,
  • Technology Transformation: Clinical Information Systems, strategy to implementation, and
  • Capital Enabled Transformation: Hospital Redevelopment, strategy to operations.

Graduating with a BSc in Nursing from the University of Windsor, Lyn continued her education at Tulane University where she achieved her Master of Health Administration (MHA). Lyn is an expert facilitator and has worked with all levels of management and boards, bringing her global experiences and consensus-building skills to the table to enable leaders to envision innovative and implementable digital health solutions to meet their transformation needs.

Under her leadership at TransForm, Lyn has remodeled the organizational structure to align with CEO and Board strategic goals, building a leadership team framework that supports teams developing industry-leading digital solutions that strengthen and modernize health care for patients not just in the region, but also across the province.
