She scales companies globally and is specialized in cross-border businesses, organizational change management, and Agile transformations. Ovey thrives on moving organizations from growth to inception, product-market fit to go-to-market. She led the implementation of the first Olympics (2010 Winter Olympics) to have a digital-first communication strategy and helped Hachette Fillipachi launch ELLE.com. Ovey has since designed and led programs around the global in innovation as an EIR and Agile Coach at TsingHua University, the University of British Columbia, and now coaching teams to be more effective in Canada's BC government (DataBC's API team). Ovey had the privilege of speaking at TEDxSFU. When not attached to her iPhone, you can find Ovey playing tennis, ultimate frisbee, golf, or adventuring outdoors.

Read MoreShe has worked in health care for over ten years in leadership roles focused on digital and virtual transformation, continuous quality improvement and strategic partnerships. She helped to build PHSA’s virtual health team, has provided leadership to support HealthLink BC’s digital transformation as well as working with multiple clinical programs on transformation initiatives and with provincial partners on virtual health product management. With a Masters degree in the History of Art from London, UK, Emily began her career by working briefly in the arts, then transitioned to health care. Deeply committed to contributing to a value-added and equitable health system, Emily applies her creative thinking to developing innovative solutions to benefit all B.C. citizens. Emily has certifications and designations in project management, change management, and multiple continuous improvement methodologies which have helped to form her collaborative approach to health system transformation. As a leader, Emily consistently attempts to stay true to her values of supporting and developing people and communicating clear purpose and vision.

Read MoreShe completed an MSN at the University of British Columbia with a focus on education and health informatics, and a BSN at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. She is currently a student in the Doctor of Nursing program at the University of Calgary. Glynda’s career includes over 15 years of clinical nursing, mostly in Critical Care, and 18 years as an educator in the BCIT BSN program. Glynda’s interests include digital health education, the impact of health information technologies on clinical judgment and decision making at the point of care, and the potential for health information technologies to improve health outcomes across communities. Glynda co-authored the Open Educational Resources Clinical Procedures for Safer Patient Care and Health Case Studies, and the Digital Health Nursing Informatics E-Resource with the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing. Glynda is currently co-leading a provincial initiative for an Interprofessional Educational Electronic Health Record for teaching and learning in healthcare.
