Purpose

The Centre for Family Medicine Care Innovations (operating as the eHealth Centre of Excellence), a not- for-profit public benefit corporation operating under the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA), is seeking applicants for positions on its Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Board of Directors, you will have responsibility for the overall stewardship of Centre for Family Medicine Care Innovations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, hiring and managing the most senior person of the organization (the Chief Executive Officer) and developing and guiding the organization’s strategy.

Eligibility and Expectations

In all cases, ideal Board Members will reflect the diversity and experience of our community and province. Candidates should have a passion for the organization’s mission, vision, and values with a willingness to learn, grow and invest working capital in the organization. Candidates do not need to be experts in Digital Health but should have a sense of wider community and passion for forwarding the goals of the organization. As per the ONCA legislation the following persons are not able to serve as a Director:

Candidates should be a residents of Canada.
