Change Management Consultant – Healthcare Project
Location: Remote with occasional on-site in Prince Edward Island (PEI)
Contract Duration: 3-4 months (Starting November 18th, 2024, ending March 31st, 2025)

Position Overview:
Tectonic Advisory, on behalf of our anonymous healthcare client, is seeking a Change Management Consultant for a high-impact project aimed at modernizing healthcare connectivity. This role focuses on integrating IoT and non-IT wireless devices within a healthcare environment to streamline operations while enhancing patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected consultant will be responsible for driving organizational change management efforts, working with key stakeholders to ensure the successful integration and sustainment of wireless healthcare technologies. Specific duties include:
- Developing comprehensive change management strategies and tools.
- Establishing a dedicated change management team.
- Defining the governance structure for wireless device integration.
- Creating a stakeholder engagement plan to foster collaboration and ensure buy-in.
- Leading efforts in communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Aligning privacy and security frameworks with IoT integration.
- Implementing a benefit realization strategy in line with organizational goals.
- Supporting on-the-ground teams with mentorship and toolkits.
- Providing regular status reports and maintaining detailed project documentation.
Expected Deliverables:
- Stakeholder Engagement Plan: Foster stakeholder relationships and facilitate consultations.
- Change Management Strategy: Define objectives, select approaches, and manage risks.
- Tactical Change Management Plan: Detailed, actionable steps for implementation.
- Communication Plan: Ensure transparent and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in change management within the healthcare sector.
- In-depth knowledge of change management methodologies and tools.
- Proven experience in developing change management plans, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement efforts.
- Familiarity with IoT and wireless technologies in healthcare.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Experience integrating change management into project plans and familiarity with project management approaches.
- Certification in Change Management (e.g., CCMP, Prosci).
- Experience working with government organizations is an asset.
