In 2007, the Institute of Healthcare Improvement introduced the Triple Aim, with the goal of lower healthcare costs while improving the patient experience and clinical outcomes. The model then expanded to the Quadruple Aim, incorporating the clinician experience due to its impact on patient satisfaction, outcomes, and costs. More recently, it has further evolved into the “Quintuple Aim,” adding health equity as a key dimension for improving the performance of care delivery.

This webinar will explore the crucial role that equity plays in health system improvement. Often treated as little more than a box to tick, equity considerations actually play an outsized role in healthcare outcomes. This is especially true when considering how equity has knock-on effects for both the provider and patient experience.

During the webinar, you will hear first hand from renowned patient advocate, Flavie Laliberte, about her personal experiences navigating the health system as a new mother and as someone struggling with chronic pain. You will also hear from Verto Health’s VP of Product, Ivana Marzura, a former patient advocate herself, who will share how her personal experiences navigating the health system helped to shape Verto’s product roadmap with an equity-first lens.
