Dr. Lydia Sequeira is the Director of Service Programs and Innovation Implementation at Kids Help Phone, and is passionate about sharing her digital health expertise to advance mental health access and support for young people across Canada. Lydia received her PhD in Health Services Research and Masters of Health Informatics degrees from the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. She is an experienced academic, holding a scientific affiliation within the Digital Mental Health Research Lab at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. She is an author of >30 academic articles and conferences papers across a breadth of digital health topics including digital phenotyping, implementation of digital tools to support mental illness, clinical decision making for suicide, and evidence to support e-Mental health policy generation within Canada. Lydia has held the role of investigator on tri council grants, and has received fellowships in both Compassion and Artificial Intelligence and Health System Impact. Lydia is deeply committed to building and fostering community within the digital health field, and serves as a mentor within national and regional non profit organizations, as well as co-chairs a special interest group within the international medical Informatics community.
