Mary is a Partner in Deloitte’s Health Transformation practice and has over 18 years of large technology-enabled transformation experience in the Canadian and US health markets. Mary is a certified project management professional, and leads strategic/advisory engagements focused solely in the digital health space. Mary retains extensive knowledge of Hospital Information Systems, Electronic Health Records and departmental clinical system design and implementations. She has executed large program management, including governance establishment, resource planning, and risk management. She has a strong knowledge of hospital operationally and clinical workflows. Additionally, Mary has excellent interpersonal skills and is I.T.I.L certified.


Mary began her career at University Health Network and spent five years implementing clinical information systems including clinical documentation and Computerized Physician Order Entry. After moving into consulting, she implemented various corporate standardization initiatives including a new clinical documentation solution for the largest municipally run health system in the US. Back in Toronto, as the Project Director of the Clinical Information System (CIS) project at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Mary was responsible for oversight of all project work streams. Mary led project planning, project reporting, budget management and supported resource management in preparation for the permanent Director. Following this implementation, Mary worked with large shared service organizations to understand Electronic Patient Record procurement options, created the integrated clinical transformation workplan for three British Columbia Health Authorities, and led HIS optimization work for a large regional hospital partnership.


She has helped multiple academic and rural organizations create their Total Cost of Ownership and benefits analysis for shared technology and clinical standardization. Most recently, Mary has been working with the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care as a provincial Hospital Information System advisor. Mary is an active presenter at national conferences, and is a published author. Education: Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology; Project Management Professional (PMP); ITIL Certified
