Carol Hatcher is the Vice President of Clinical Programs at Humber River Hospital (HRH). She is responsible for leading, planning, directing, evaluating and sustaining patient care activities across all inpatient and outpatient programs including emergency services, medicine, nephrology, oncology, critical care, surgery, maternal and child, mental health and family practice. Ms. Hatcher is a transformational leader with a strong track record of delivering innovative solutions for excellence in clinical practice and patient care.


Ms. Hatcher plays a pivotal role bringing clinical to digital in many ground breaking initiatives that have been recognized nationally and internationally. She was a key leader in the activation of the new HRH, North America’s first digital hospital. She is also the clinical executive lead for HRHs Command Centre, and oversees the design and activation of the Wall of Analytics TM to improve patient flow, patient outcomes, and population health.


Ms. Hatcher is a Registered Nurse with a Master of Nursing from the University of Toronto. She has over 20 years of progressive leadership experience and has worked in the acute care sector in a variety of positions including staff nurse, resource nurse, clinical nurse educator, patient care manager, program director and vice president.
