Angela brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare informatics to her role as the Director, Data & Analytics Strategic Initiatives & Governance at CCO. She is currently leading the implementation of a 4 year 11.2M program to create an insights-driven organization that will generate, utilize, and share actionable insights to enable evidence based decision-making. She is also responsible for establishing, leading, and maintaining an enterprise-wide integrated data and analytics governance framework that incorporates policy and procedure setting, risk identification and mitigation, stewardship, and compliance. Previously, Angela was the Chief Information Officer & Privacy Officer at Runnymede Healthcare Centre where she spearheaded change and cultural transformation through the development and tactical implementation of a strategic plan that led to the modernization of a newly-built 200-bed hospital. Other key roles have included the Director, Information Technology at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH)and instructor of Health Information Systems Management at Ryerson University. Angela has a Masters of Education (M.Ed.) with a focus in Adult Education and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).
