Canadian Telehealth Report (2015)

The 2015 Canadian Telehealth Report shows telehealth is evolving to become more broadly available and more technologically diverse in Canada.

The COACH CTF: Canadian Telehealth Forum publishes the biannual report − the only source of national jurisdiction-specific telehealth data. The report provides a “snapshot in time” of the state of telehealth, involving the use of technology to eliminate distance barriers between patients and healthcare providers and increase access to care, particularly in remote and rural communities.

Key Findings
The 2015 report builds on the previous three editions and tracks the growth and change since the 2013 report. It documents:

45.7% jump in clinical sessions
– 41.5% increase in endpoint delivery locations, including community and home settings.
