Meet Advisory Committee Candidate Christine Grimm

Private Sector (Corporate) Candidate Christine Grimm is Vice President Strategic Advisory/Digital Health at Healthtech

Why do you want to join the CHIEF Executive Forum Advisory Committee at this point in your career?
It is an exciting time to be in healthcare and I have seen first-hand the challenges and opportunities in the public sector and now in my new role in private sector. As CHIEF continues to grow it’s important that the Advisory Committee set goals and objectives that are meaningful and relevant to a diverse group of members with varied needs. As a national forum we provide a collaborative table to discuss advances in digital health by providing opportunities to share and learn from each other. Covid has been a disruptor and an accelerator, demonstrating to patients, planners, providers, and policy leaders the benefits of digital transformation. We have made great advances, but we have more work to do. I would like to contribute my time and expertise to this important leadership advisory committee.

What unique skills, perspectives and contributions would you bring to the Advisory Committee?
I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves and do what is needed to get the job done. I have been a Board member at the Canadian Institute for Health Information representing the Atlantic Region, the Atlantic Provinces Special Education Authority (APSEA) and the Colchester East Hants Hospital Foundation. I was an active member at the Board level and on various Board Committees. If I am selected for the CHIEF Advisory Committee I will prioritize and contribute as required to fulfill the mandate.
