Digital Health Canada Board of Directors 2019-20

June 25, 2020, Toronto – The results of the recent Digital Health Canada Board of Directors election were announced yesterday at the association’s 45th Annual General Meeting, held virtually.

Six 2020-2022 Board of Directors positions were open for election this year and an online election took place between May 11-22, 2020 with over 600 Digital Health Canada members voting. Directors elected for another term: Shannon Malovec, Mary Sanagan, and Dr. Raza Abidi. Three new Directors were elected: Angela Lianos, Cassie Frazer, and Blair White. Keltie Jamieson, Helene Clement, and Past President Leon Salvail will be stepping away from the Board table after many years of valued service to the members of Digital Health Canada.

The first meeting of the new Board of Directors took place immediately following the Annual General Meeting. Electing a new President, Vice-President, and Secretary-Treasurer was one of the first orders of business. Shannon Malovec will replace Shiran Isaacksz as President. Blair White will serve as Vice-President, and Karla Avery will take on Secretary-Treasurer duties.
