The IM/IT & OPOE Systems Analyst (SA) / Business Analyst (BA), reports to an IM/IT or OPOE Manager and will take direction from either the IM/IT Lead or Sr. Analyst. This position is responsible for the requirement gathering, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support for primarily clinical information management and technology solutions and functions across NSH, IWK and its many external clients. The IM/IT and OPOE SA/BA works with their team to collaborate with key clinical and business stakeholders throughout the province as the organization, in partnership with the province’s Internal Services Department and the Department of Health and Wellness, moves towards the rationalization of disparate systems and the OPOE Program.
The IM/IT or OPOE SA/BA will be committed to a high standard of performance and will provide support across the organization to leverage IT applications aligned with NSH and its client’s strategic mission, vision and goals.
- Degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis or Health Related discipline. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and relevant experience.
- 1-3 years’ experience in application programming, systems analysis, business analysis or systems support an asset.
- Experience and/or training with healthcare information systems and terminology an asset.
- Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting an asset.
- Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management (PMP), and/or organizational change management an asset.

$30.62 – $38.28 Hourly
