OntarioMD Senior Project Managers in the Product Strategy and Delivery portfolio are responsible for leading one or more significant, large-scale digital health initiatives through various phases of the project lifecycle, including conception (business case, exploration and/or proof-of-concept), deployment and adoption at a provincial scale. Senior Project Managers are expected to bring advanced business and integration perspectives as well as substantial experience managing initiatives according to project management best practices.

Working closely with a variety of teams, your responsibilities will be:

1. Managing digital health initiatives through the project lifecycle:
-Primary project accountability and the main point of contact for OntarioMD;
-Providing detailed project planning with target deliverables;
-Developing and delivers high-quality project artefacts using standardized templates and tools;
-Proactively managing project risks and escalates issues for resolution;
-Leading/directing internal and partner project resources and activities
-Leading/facilitating workshops and stakeholder forums; and
-Monitoring project status and provides regular updates to OntarioMD senior leadership and stakeholders.

2. Managing stakeholder relations:
-Establishing and maintaining collaborative and productive stakeholder relationships;
-Liaising with clients and stakeholders to explain the benefits, responsibilities and progress associated with products and services; and
-Creating/delivering communications materials and business presentations to internal and external clients/stakeholders.

3. Supporting OntarioMD project management planning and best practices:
-Project forecasting and prioritization of activities;
-Identifying and coordinating OntarioMD resources to support initiatives; and
-Working with the Project Management Office, contributes to the improvement of internal project management practices.

Requirements that are important to us:
-University degree or equivalent;
-Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in information technology project management;
-Minimum of five (5) years’ experience delivering healthcare information technology initiatives
-Project Management Professional (PMP) or actively working towards designation;
-CPHIMS-CA is an asset;
-Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional project teams in complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare environments;
-Comprehensive project planning experience
-Able to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners;
-Excellent written communication and oral presentation skills, and able to present technical topics to non-
-technical audiences; and
-In-depth working knowledge of a variety of computer software including Microsoft Office suite
