MARKETING COORDINATOR – 1 YEAR CONTRACT
Job Description Summary
This is a full-time marketing position, for a cutting edge online medical software education simulation provider. Tasks will vary greatly—from marketing to networking at tradeshows in the Greater Toronto area.
About Choice Learning
We are an experiential learning provider of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) simulations for colleges and universities. We provide academic training on today’s most in-demand health software. Choice Learning develops healthcare curriculum at the post-secondary level and provides access to EMR software that has been incorporated into our hands-on training.
Choice Learning provides a cloud-based industry EMR simulation that supports asynchronous learning. Our unique solution allows an industry EMR software to work in a classroom setting.
Responsibilities
- Attending networking opportunities (3-5 tradeshows/conferences per year in Canada)
- Following up on sales leads by email, phone calls, and online demonstration sessions
- Automating marketing lead system
- Assisting with social media (blog, campaigns, emails)
Work Hours & Benefits
- $58,000 – $60,000 per year
- Full-time, Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST (with flexibility)
- 2 weeks paid vacation
- Work virtually with occasional in-person networking
- Paid travel
Qualifications/Skills
- Strong work ethic, self-starter, and takes initiative
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities
- Ability to spot emerging trends
- Familiarity with social media, networking, email marketing and search enginesDemonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong writing and copy-editing abilities
The following skills would be a plus:
- Experience working in a high growth or fast-paced tech-company
- Knowledge of Canadian health care industry
- Experience using Jane App, Ocean and Accuro
- Lives in the Muskoka, Ontario area
Education and Experience Requirements
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in marketing or equivalent
- 1-3 years’ experience in marketing or equivalent education
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
