Ross Memorial Hospital (RMH) is an active, acute-care community Hospital located in the heart of the City of Kawartha Lakes, serving more than 80,000 local residents and seasonal visitors. Among our acute and continuing care services, our team cares for 45,000 patients per year in the 24/7/365 emergency department, provides orthopedics and ophthalmology services, operates a satellite dialysis unit, and is renowned for its mental health programs, integrated stroke unit, palliative care services and restorative seniors’ care. As the Director of Information and Communication and Technology (ICT), you will provide leadership and expertise to advance high quality integrated ICT services at Ross Memorial Hospital and Haliburton Highlands Health Services (HHHS). In alignment with the Vision, Mission, Values and Strategic Directions, you will oversee the operation of the ICT department and will plan, coordinate, and direct all operational activities as well as provide direction and support for ICT solutions to enhance business and clinical operations.
In this key leadership role, the Director of ICT will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective innovative technology solutions for all aspects of the organizations. You will play a key role in developing partnerships and leading your team through the implementation of the Clinical Information System ensuring the required technical standards, structures and processes are in place.
The Director of ICT is also responsible for overseeing the implementation of ICT projects or other corporate projects as assigned. This includes project management activities, financial management of project related budgets and direct management of ICT resources to ensure the project goals and objectives are met.
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Preferred in a relevant Technology, Business or health related field
- Certified in Project Management or equivalent experience
- Information Systems Administration discipline
- 5-10 year’s experience in an Information Systems leadership role in Health Care
