The Role:
As our Business Development Manager, you will use your experience in the Canadian health system to lead our expansion across Canada. In this newly created role, you will grow our sales pipeline by engaging with senior representatives from health systems nationwide to match the benefits of HealthPathways to the challenges they are facing in their system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the sales plan for Canada.
- Identify and engage target audiences.
- Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
- Influence decision-making at senior levels.
- Collaborate with partners to secure growth opportunities.
- Ensure engagements are results-focused and relationships are sustained.
About You:
- Experience working in, or selling to, Canadian health systems.
- Tertiary qualification in business, health, or social care (or equivalent experience).
- Proven success in market expansion, ideally within a health-related environment.
- Ability to build high-trust relationships at the executive level.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
- Bi-lingual (French and English) is desirable.
Location:
Initially home-based with regular travel across Canada. Future plans include a Vancouver-based office, so candidates should be within commutable distance to central Vancouver.
Occasional international travel and work outside normal hours will be required.
