Mark Casselman

Chief Executive Officer

 

Mark Casselman has 15 years of experience working with executives and clinical leaders across multiple sectors and agencies within the Canadian health ecosystem. He has led strategic engagements, product design and development, large-scale transformation initiatives, and has been recognized as an innovator in the field of digital health.

 

Mark has championed innovation in consumer-focused health information products and services across multiple industries. He has broad experience in strategic planning, business development, product development, project management, stakeholder engagement, leading teams, and service delivery transformation. Mark’s interests include go-to-market strategy and implementation for disruptive product and service innovations. He is focused on transforming health service delivery and enhancing the consumer experience.

 

Mark is a Volunteer Advisor in Health Venture Services at MaRS, and holds an adjunct position at University of Toronto in Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation. Mark enjoys an active lifestyle with his family, coaching youth basketball and football, and training for triathlon.

Executive Director, Operations

 

Shannon oversees the overall operations of the Association, ensuring that the Association office provides support and effective management of the organization, in accordance with the bylaws of the Association and directives of the Board of Directors.

 

Shannon works in a strategic capacity with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Board of Directors to deliver an effective, sustainable operation.

Digital Health Canada offers a number of events throughout the year for networking and professional development: Conferences foster network growth and connection and bring together ideas from multiple segments for incubation and advocacy. Breakfast Events condense the learning and connecting opportunities of a full-day conference into quick morning session with concise presentations, breakfast, discussions, and networking breaks. MeetUps offer early evening networking in a relaxed atmosphere, with snacks, drinks, and an activity like Speed Networking, a brief presentation, or an expert panel featuring local digital health industry leaders. Webinar Wednesdays deliver interesting member-driven content weekly (free for Digital Health Canada members).
